Content Improvements Start with a Content Inventory
The building is only as tall as the foundation is strong. A content inventory is key to building a solid foundation in your quest to improve your content operations. A well-constructed content inventory can point out content reuse possibilities, redundant content, outdated content, gaps in content, and so much more. Just like you shouldn’t build a home without first building the foundation, you shouldn’t begin a content improvement engagement without first completing a content inventory.
In this session attendees will learn:
- What a content inventory is and the different approaches you can take when building one
- Why a content inventory is essential to content operations
- How to build a content inventory, including a few tips and tricks to simplify the process
- How to use a content inventory to lay the foundation to content improvement initiatives
