From document search to document understanding
To understand our documents, we need to semantically understand the structure of the documents. With standards like DITA that focus on generic structures, combined with knowledge graphs, this can be turned into a methodology for semantically understanding documents. This allows for more precise text analysis as we focus on the right method in the context of the document structure, turning documents into componentized content that can be easily tailored to different needs.
In my talk, I will explain the methodology using a concrete example of a DITA dataset that has been transformed into a knowledge graph as a “”digital twin”” of the DITA dataset. In addition, I will show how this can improve the content creation process and the possibilities this offers for content delivery in different contexts such as chatbots, virtual reality, video, artificial intelligence, etc.
In this session attendees will learn:
- How to turn a DITA dataset into a knowledge graph
- How this content graph can be used to drive user experience
