Michael Maxey is the director of content solutions at AirWatch by VMware, the leading enterprise mobility management (EMM) provider. In this role, Maxey is responsible for the largest and most strategic enterprise accounts, helping customers and prospects to choose the best solutions to increase productivity and enable their clients.
Maxey brings nine years of technology and software industry knowledge to AirWatch. Most recently, he worked for more than three years as a senior retail account executive to Fortune 500 clients at Accruent, a business process automation software company, where he initiated business development of target accounts. At Accruent, he earned President’s Club status two years in a row.
Before joining Accruent, Maxey was the director of business development at Circle Technologies, where he built the managed services division within the organization, targeted prospects for managed IT projects, and contracted professional services. In 2006, he co-founded Mikai Technology, a software company focused on video analytics technology. Maxey began his career in the document management industry at Ricoh.
Maxey earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in marketing from The Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia.
